  • I have to admit that I have never heard of the Giller Prize. Interesting. I think its neat that you are on the Shadow Jury with KFC. Sadly the only author on the list that I recognize is Margaret Atwood. I’ve read some of her works and am amazed at her talent – she is such an extraordinary writer. Alias Grace is my favorite book by her. I have yet to read The Year of the Flood, which I have heard is great. I have also heard it follows Oryx and Crake. Anyhow, its currently on my TBR list. I’m looking forward to your posting about this award and the nominees and their works.

  • [...] My Favorite Lit-Blog Things: September 25, 2009 KfC lays out the plans of the Giller Prize Shadow Jury. I am looking forward their reviews and decision more than the actual prize. Mookse and the Gripes is part of the Giller Prize Shadow Jury and has posted the longlist. [...]
