If you’ve ever wanted to provide financial support to the website or the podcast, there is now an easy way to do so. In the upper-left corner of the blog there is a new button: “Donate.”
Over the years I’ve received several emails from people asking how they can support the site and, now, the podcast. There are hard costs to running the blog and the podcast (primarily server costs, with a bit of book buying), so I have always appreciated such offers. I have factored all of those costs into what is a personal project, but I certainly have appreciated help in the past and would continue to appreciate help in the future at any time you feel you can.
But please do not feel obligated to donate a dime. The Mookse and the Gripes site and podcast will continue onward (and hopefully upward) regardless of whether there are any donations. I run this all for enjoyment, and many of you support it plenty by reading and listening and by adding to the discussions here and elsewhere. If you have suggestions for improving the site in any way, please send me an email.
If you do choose to donate, it should be fairly simple. Simply click the donate button and you can donate via credit card or paypal. Please note that this site is not set up as a tax-exempt non-profit entity, so donations are not tax deductible.
