I was thrilled and honored to participate in the 150th episode of The CriterionCast, the podcast dedicated to discussing the films of The Criterion Collection. This episode I joined host Scott Nye and my Eclipse Viewer co-host David Blakeslee to discuss Ingmar Bergman’s The Seventh Seal (which I reviewed here last year).
It was an excellent conversation. Scott and David are knowledgeable, articulate, and enthusiastic. I play the underwhelmed viewer, The Seventh Seal not being among my favorites, though you’ll see that there’s more to that: I genuinely consider it a masterpiece that must be seen.
