Well, this is a fortuitous! In 2011, our third son was born and I did a giveaway to mark the occasion. Our fourth son (yes, we are happy even though we have not had a daughter) was born early Tuesday morning, and I already had this giveaway planned. So . . . I guess this giveaway, meant to mark the publication of Lydia Davis’s Can’t and Won’t in paperback, was not meant to celebrate the birth of our baby boy, but that’s what I meant when I said “this is fortuitous!”
I’m thrilled that Picador, who is publishing the book next week in the United States, is offering a free copy to two lucky winners. Lydia Davis is fantastic, and Can’t and Won’t is a phenomenal book of her unique short stories. I reviewed it here when it came out in hardback last April.
