Using the wayback machine, you might be ahead of the game. Indeed, David has already written my post for me!<\/p>\n

For those who are curious, the story is \u201cWhoever Is There, Come on Through\u201d by Colin Barrett. His other stories published in The New Yorker<\/i> are \u201cThe Ways\u201d almost exactly three years ago, \u201cAnhedonia, Here I Come\u201d in 2016, and \u201cThe Hairless Are Careless\u201d in the summer of 2017 flash fiction series. He published a book of short stories (Young Skins<\/i>) in 2013, which won the Frank O\u2019Connor International Short Story Award and the Guardian First Book Award in 2014.
