The Criterion Collection has announced its releases for January 2019. Yes, we are already looking at next year! And Criterion is looking to start things off well. Probably the one that is generally the best known is Jewison’s In the Heat of the Night<\/em>. Hitchcock’s Notorious<\/em> is a welcome return to the collection since they lost the rights to the film years ago. But look at the other three! Kiarostami’s final film! More Mungiu! And Elaine May finally enters the collection with her gritty gangster film\u00a0Mikey and Nicky<\/em>!<\/p>\n
