This year\u2019s Noble Prize in Literature has been awarded to Louise Gl\u00fcck, the great American poet, \u201cfor her unmistakable poetic voice that with austere beauty makes individual existence universal.\u201d I have read a few of her collections, including The Wild Iris<\/em>, Vita Nova<\/em>, and her most recent Faithful and Virtuous Night<\/em>. I think she’s tremendous and have enjoyed wrestling with her work — I wish I understood it better and look forward to wrestling with more of it!<\/p>\n
