  1. I’ve only read ‘At Night awe Walk in Circles’, but it was very good. The plot centers on a small theater troupe in Peru and deals with authenticity, art, and love, among other themes including the political. I cannot say it is the best 2013 novel that I read (The Luminaries takes that minor prize), but it is very good and is noticeably different from so much literary fiction in terms of setting, outlook, and ambiance.
