The winner of this years Man Booker Prize is The Narrow Road to the Deep North, by Richard Flanagan.
I’ve got this book on my shelf, and I’m anxious to read it. I know several who rate it highly; indeed, it was the top choice on the forum (see here).

As I read elsewhere, it’s a “solid” choice. I’m just waiting for a decent shortlist, it’s been a while.
