Once again I had the distinct pleasure of conversing with Scott Nye and David Blakeslee about a film for The CriterionCast. This time we delved into the murkiness of a murder trial with Otto Preminger’s 1959 film Anatomy of a Murder, starring Jimmy Stewart and George C. Scott.
Interestingly, this film fits in nicely with our discussion of Akira Kurosawa’s Rashomon from a couple of months ago. We’re getting quite good a discussing unknowability.
