I had the great pleasure of joining in another conversation at CriterionCast, this time about one of Akira Kurosawa’s masterpieces: Rashomon (1950). It’s a film I love, yet each time I sit down to watch it I think it won’t live up to my earlier experiences with it — I’ve been wrong each time so far.
