The 2021 Booker Prize Shortlist

It’s mid-September, and for as long as I can remember that has meant Booker Prize shortlist! The six books (from the thirteen on the longlist) have been revealed. The winner will be selected from the shortlist and announced on November 3. There is a lot of activity over at The Mookse and the Gripes Goodreads group, so go over there and join in.

A couple of the books are not out yet in the United States. Bewilderment comes out in exactly one week, on September 21. The Fortune Men, however, doesn’t come out until March 1, 2022. There are ways to import it, so if you’re dying to read it without waiting, you can do that. It’s also possible that this will encourage Knopf to publish it sooner — particularly if it ends up being the winner.

Here is the complete list!
